Terms & Rental Policy

1. Eligibility & Documentation
The hirer must be at least 18 years of age (21 years for motorcycles above 350cc) and possess a valid, original Driving License for two-wheelers. International riders must hold an International Driving Permit (IDP) and their home country license. One original government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, or Voter ID) is held as security during the rental duration.
2. Security Deposit & Refund
A refundable security deposit (₹1,000 for scooters, ₹2,000–₹3,000 for motorcycles) must be paid at pickup. This deposit is 100% refunded immediately upon returning the vehicle in the same running condition with no damages, traffic penalties, or outstanding dues.
3. Helmet & Traffic Compliance
Wearing an ISI-certified helmet is mandatory by law across Uttarakhand for the rider and pillion. Lykan Rides provides certified helmets with every rental. The hirer is solely responsible for any traffic violations, speeding fines, or e-challans incurred during their possession.
4. Fuel Policy
Vehicles are provided with sufficient fuel to reach the nearest fuel station (located within 1 km of our ISBT hub). The hirer is requested to return the vehicle with an equivalent fuel level.
5. Prohibited Uses
Vehicles must not be used for racing, stunt riding, commercial sub-leasing, or operating under the influence of alcohol or narcotics. Riding off designated roads into riverbeds or protected wildlife reserves is strictly prohibited.
